AHT - Simply clever in more than one way!
The electronic clearance of your air freight export shipments is obligatory as of 1st July 2009. There will be a number of changes. However, due to our user-friendly software things will not become more difficult for you!
AHT is a web-based platform operated by dbh which can be used by everyone involved in the export part of the business. All you need is an Internet connection; this can even mean accessing the web using a handheld appliance (such as MDA / PDA). No software installation is required.
Simple digests and clear input masks are available for entering data.
The exporter can start by sending a preliminary declaration to the respective customs office, the so-called "Anticipation".
As soon as the shipment arrives at the airport, the next declaration is required, the "Presentation". Using AHT, the trucker can do this with his PDA.
The handling agent (e.g. at the transfer depot) checks the goods and notifies the "Qualification".
This "Notification" completes the declaration chain by confirming the actual departure to customs.
