Automatic takeover of order data
On receipt of order time is already saved as the order data can be transferred via interface from other applications, for example, from the Bremer Hafentelematik (BHT), but also from almost any other system. This not only saves the manual input of the data, but in addition reduces the sources of error.
Order processing comprises all necessary functions such as loading and unloading of containers, warehouse services and handling of claims. A specific feature in the programme is that virtually every service can be represented, even not subject-related services such as the renting of premises.
Optimisation of workflow
Furthermore, Advantage CFS allows the detailed planning of resources. For example, employees, stackers or time contingents can be assigned to the single orders. Afterwards the programme allows the comparison of the data with the actually required resources enabling further optimisation of the workflow.
The accounting of the orders takes place at the push of a button. Advantage CFS offers the possibility to manage contracts and adjust special rates. Thus individually negotiated prices are considered automatically.
Interfaces to SAP and customs clearance
Another advantage is the option to establish interfaces to almost all other programmes. This not only facilitates the entry of order data, but also allows the interaction with other company software. Interfaces to SAP have already been established as well as the transmission of data to the dbh customs clearance system Advantage Customs.
Advantage CFS is configurable for all kinds of master data. It is especially convenient that data can also be imported from all kinds of Excel formats. Corresponding functions can be configured individually for each customer. Another possibility is, for example, to scan in customs numbers which are then taken over then directly by the system.
Easy handling
When programming the Advantage CFS special attention was paid to easy use. Wherever possible, processes can be dealt with using the "drag and drop" function. For example, goods can be simply transferred to the containers using the mouse, so that the entry of container numbers is no longer necessary.
Advantage CFS is available as an ASP solution (use via a secure Internet connection) or as an in-house solution (installation on your own server).
