DACOM - Dangerous Cargo Online Management
DACOM is an Internet-based information and logging system for the handling of hazardous goods in ports. It can be used by the participants of the hazardous goods information federation (GIV) to monitor the transmission of electronic hazardous goods declarations and to display or edit contents. The declarations can be also captured directly in DACOM and transmitted to the port authorities after their contents have been checked.
The system provides comprehensive functions for the internal review, processing and transmission of the data. Today the manual timetable registration including master data administration and the declaration among other things are already used by the port authority. DACOM is widely independent of a specific browser and also multilingual.
