Foreign trade is, in principle, free in Germany. However, this certainly does not mean that you can simply supply any item to any country in the world!

You must check where you are making the delivery to, what you are supplying to who, and the purpose of your goods, software or technology. After all, even goods that are produced exclusively for civilian purposes could be used for military purposes ("dual use"). A typical example of this is simple lipstick tubes, which can also be used as cartridge cases, as well as spare parts such as for special seals, pumps and hydraulic parts.

TARGET-SETTING What do we want to achieve with the "Export control" webinar?

We will explain to you the cornerstones of export control and the legal background. Our aim is to get you started by giving you ideas for practical implementation at your company. You will, of course, also have the opportunity to put questions to our instructor.


Employees working in export, purchasing, logistics, sales, development or quality management who are getting to grips with the subject of export control for the first time.


The webinar is approximately 20 minutes long and is free.

You need a telephone and a PC/laptop with Internet access. You will be sent a link to the TeamViewer website/to download the software and login details for accessing the conference in the registration confirmation.

Please make sure that the software is installed on your PC/laptop or check that you are able to access the specified temporary website in good time before the seminar.
