LogiMAT 2016: Using preferences and securing competitive advantages

10. Jan 2016 | Exhibition, Logimat

For the upcoming LogiMAT (Neue Messe Stuttgart, March 8-10), dbh Logistics IT AG (dbh) has written everything about supplier declarations, product origin and preferences on the trade fair flag. In this difficult topic environment, there is much to consider – which is exactly what dbh shows at the booth in Hall 7, Booth 7C66.

MAKING USE OF TARIFF CONCESSIONS

The EU has concluded bilateral agreements with some countries in which tariff concessions (preferences) have been agreed. Imports into a country with which such an agreement has been concluded may be duty-free/reduced. The condition is that the goods comply with the rules of origin laid down in the agreement.

In order to use these preferences as a competitive advantage, a large number of companies within the EU therefore present so-called supplier declarations as proof of preference. The crux is only: If a supplier’s declaration has been issued incorrectly, there may be tax, criminal and civil consequences.

AVOID EXHIBITION ERRORS

Often the necessary expertise is lacking to fill in the document correctly – also because there is no obligation to issue supplier declarations. Software can help to avoid consequential exhibition errors. Advantage Compliance Präferenzmanagement by dbh is one such application. But she can do more!

Advantage Compliance Präferenzmanagement helps, for example, to request supplier declarations for purchasing and to manage them clearly, e.g. via a web portal. The sale, in turn, is supported in simply determining preferential product jumps, calculating preferences correctly and thus issuing your own supplier declarations without errors.

LIVE PRESENTATION ON THE LogiMAT 2016

dbh will be happy to present its solution for the management of supplier declarations and calculation of preferences at LogiMAT 2016. Appointments can be arranged directly under www.dbh.de/LogiMAT.

The booth of dbh is located in hall 7, booth 7C66
