Freight forwarding solution for all transport users

transport logistic Munich

Efficient processes, flexible room for manoeuvre, comprehensible communication processes – implemented with a software that focuses on sustainability and offers a high level of investment security. This is what the freight forwarding software CARGO ONLINEpromises. Modules for sea, air, land and even warehouses enable processes tailored to the modes of transport. In addition to general order processing, additional modules are optionally available, for example for customs clearance or sanction edits checking, as well as interfaces to common accounting systems.

With a software established on the market with more than 300 customers and a manufacturer celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, CARGO ONLINE provides a solid investment base, which is reinforced by the merger with dbh, because it will enable customers to offer an extended service in the future. This includes, for example, the connection of solutions from the dbh portfolio as well as already the operation of CARGO ONLINE in the dbh data center (hosting). The employees of the two companies will present software and services together at the trade fair.

Shipping system with touch function

The latest development in the company portfolio is “Advantage Delivery” for controlling shipping processing. The software has been specially developed at the customer’s request in order to be able to carry out important shipping steps via touch applications, for example on trays, and can also be operated with gloves. Advantage Delivery manages communication with external service providers and takes over the shipment data from the used inventory management or transport management systems (WMS, ERP or TMS). An interface for retrieving customs status information is also available. Tracking & tracing is also possible with the shipping system. Interested trade fair visitors can have these and other functions demonstrated live at the dbh stand.

SAP Solutions for Logistics Processes

Companies that already use SAP or are planning to implement SAP can also get advice at the dbh booth. In the SAP environment, dbh offers both consulting and software. The offer ranges from the general introduction of SAP in the company to the implementation of standard solutions such as SAP GTS to the development of program extensions for special topics in customs and foreign trade (e.g. ATLAS customs clearance, VAT ID check or seferred secrum check).

The transport logistic 2013 will take place from 4-7 June at Messe München. The booth of dbh can be found in hall B2, booth 427/528.
