On 17 March 2016, dbh Logistics IT AG (dbh) invited customers and interested parties to an information event within the framework of the SOLAS directive “Verified Gross Mass” at the Bremen Chamber of Commerce. More than 100 participants were informed about the new scheme. With effect from 1 July 2016, the gross weights of containers must be verified and reported by the shipper to the shipowner in good time, otherwise the containers will remain in port.
