TRANSPORT LOGISTIC PRELIMINARY REPORT: CRM AND C2C — THE NEW MAGIC WORDS IN CARGO ONLINE

transport logistic (5–8 May 2015, Messe München trade fair centre, Munich) is considered to be the most important trade fair in the transport and forwarding industry calendar. No wonder that dbh Logistics IT AG (dbh) insisted on presenting two new additions to the CARGO ONLINE forwarding software solution there.

LEVERAGE SALES POTENTIAL WITH CRM EXTENSIONS

The new CRM extension is tailored specifically to the requirements of the transport and logistics industry and makes the perfect addition to the sales toolbox. Data relating to addresses, shipments, quotes, sales and profit are transferred from CARGO ONLINE directly to the CRM tool and presented clearly in the customer folder. Activities and additional information, e.g. about the competition, are extremely easy to log. An extensive range of functions, such as customer evaluations, an automatic follow-up system, a status indicator for quotes and statistics aid the optimisation of the sales process and the identification of potential.

It is the sales tool for CARGO ONLINE customers and enables the proactive establishment and development of customer relationships. What's more, it can be used on the go and is suitable for use with a touchpad.

C2C — THE MAGIC WORD FOR DATA EXCHANGE

"Cargo to Customer", "Cargo to Cargo", "Customer to Customer", and, and, and — whatever it stands for, C2C is the CARGO ONLINE magic word. The new interface makes exchanging order data with customers, service providers and/or other sites a piece of cake. Supplied data is simply imported in order to generate new orders or add information to existing orders, thereby minimising manual data entry, the work involved and the potential for errors during order processing.

It does not matter whether the communication partner uses CARGO ONLINE or another system because the data is converted automatically. Plausibility checks when the data is received make sure that no incomplete or erroneous information is supplied.

As well as the new CRM and C2C extensions, the state-of-the-art CARGO ONLINE forwarding software offers additional modules for all modes of transport:
