PORTOS VIDEOGATE

portos Videogate is the software connection between the hardware installations designed for automatic recognition of trains/railway carriages and truck licence plates, as well as the identification codes of their load carriers, (e.g. BIC code. ILU code or labelling of dangerous goods), and the logistics company's commercial logistics application programs. portos Videogate is available for railway and road transports. These systems are primarily used in ports, transshipment hubs and industrial companies with works railways and busy truck gates.

portos Videogate communicates with the recognition system (we recommend the recognition hardware and servers provided by our partners, ASE AG, Bruchsal), eliminates recognition errors from the transmitted data, aligns the data with shipping notifications and then reports this data to the software systems of the logistics company for further processing. In this process, portos Videogate distinguishes between imports and exports. The identification numbers of the locomotive and the railway carriage are reported with the string sequence and container load or the truck licence plate.

ID RECORDING OF TRAINS WITH PORTOS VIDEOGATE.

The system records information from the trains passing by the video posts, notes the time and direction and presents this data to the train scheduler, with a note in the case of recognition errors (see manufacturer information for the recognition software, ASE AG, Bruchsal). The scheduler can correct recognition errors by zooming in and inspecting the images. The data is stored in a transport database and divided into groups based on the trains used and whether the data is for imports or exports.

DATA PROCESSING OF INCOMING TRAINS

portos Videogate receives advance notifications from the railway transport company via the company's logistics software. The software compares this notification data with the recognition data of the incoming train and enables users to complete and correct both the recognition data for the incoming trains and the notification data.

The synchronised data is reported back to the company's logistics software and stored in the transport database.

DATA PROCESSING OF OUTGOING TRAINS

The recognition data of outgoing trains can be compared with data from the company's logistics software about the completion of loading or release for departure, for example, and corrected if necessary. The result is reported back to the logistics software so that this can write a train departure notification to the railway transport company. This data is also stored in the transport database.

TRUCK RECOGNITION DATA WITH PORTOS VIDEOGATE

Truck licence plates can be compared with the notifications and with import and export licences. When the data matches, the passage of the goods is granted automatically. This notification of release for transit can also be displayed on the computer for the gate personnel.

The truck licence plate number and the load carrier are checked for the release notification. If the notification of release for transit is not granted, a block notification is sent for the gate systems and a notification is created for the gate personnel.

If the gate personnel notice an unauthorised transit operation, security staff can be notified automatically. The security staff receive this notification along with the corresponding photographs.

INVOICING AND EVALUATION

portos Videogate generates reports and statistics from the recognition data of transit operations. This includes the current and previous vehicle stock at the customs site. Imports and exports that have not been declared can also be displayed, as well as a list of containers with hazardous goods.

The idle times of the freight wagons are provided, along with the other accounting data required for the invoicing process.
