Climate Protection with Clear Targets
In the area of climate protection, dbh reports total emissions of 1,613.1 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents for 2025, with the largest share attributable to indirect emissions along the value chain. At the same time, the company is implementing concrete measures, including a complete switch to renewable electricity at all relevant locations from 2026, extensive electrification of the vehicle fleet, and the use of energy-efficient data center technology. The goal is to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 60 percent by 2027 compared to the baseline year 2022.
Using Resources Responsibly
dbh also pursues a clear approach in resource management. IT hardware is used for as long as possible, shared internally, or properly recycled. At the same time, the company is developing sustainable procurement processes and expanding supplier assessment.
