What is PORTOS Videogate used for?
PORTOS Videogate automatically captures and processes truck and wagon license plates as well as cargo data. The application cleanses detected data. It provides the results to your terminal staff for verification. It then forwards the data to your logistics systems.
Can recognized vehicle or cargo data be manually corrected?
Yes. Your GATE employees research all incoming recognition data via the dialog. They check the data and manually correct it if necessary. Only after that do they transfer the information to downstream systems.
Which interfaces does PORTOS Videogate support?
PORTOS Videogate offers external interfaces for data transfer from detection systems. It transfers the data to your terminal software or to BLU. You query parking times. You send and receive notification messages. You transmit billing-relevant information. An internal interface to other dbh products is not currently planned.
