ATLAS INTEGRATION FOR CARGO ONLINE

The CARGO ONLINE ATLAS software module is linked to the dbh customs software, Advantage Customs, which is officially certified by the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF).

The application can be fully integrated in the sea freight and/or airfreight modules, but can also be used completely independently. The quick order entry and ease-of-use are key benefits of this module.

FORWARDING SOFTWARE WITH CUSTOMS CLEARANCE ATLAS integration in CARGO ONLINE

The CARGO ONLINE ATLAS module can be fully integrated in the Sea Freight and/or Airfreight modules, but can also be used completely independently. On the one hand, this enables quick processing thanks to the ability to continue to use previously entered sea freight and airfreight data, and on the other hand, it enables complicated and time consuming customs clearance processes to be performed directly in the freight forwarding software.

The quick order entry and ease-of-use are key benefits of this module. CARGO ONLINE supports users with existing master data, which the user can select, meaning that this data does not need to be entered again.

The ATLAS module also contains its own plausibility checks, which go far beyond the requirements for customs administration and only permit logical data. Since incorrect entries are discovered earlier on in the process, the error rate is significantly reduced. Reduced effort for the entry of data is an extremely positive benefit offered by the software. This results in reduced costs and higher quality.

BENEFITS OF CARGO ONLINE — ATLAS

  • Independent module or integrated
  • Generation of customs applications from orders
  • Direct transfer of tax assessment notes
  • AES finalisation for airfreight exports
  • AES data entry via the Internet by your customers
  • Plausibility checks

MASTER DATA FOR SIMPLER CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

A wide range of information, such as addresses, customs numbers, deferment accounts and permits, can be stored in the comprehensive master data management tool. Countries, or destinations for airfreight transports, and customs offices can also be stored here. Thanks to integrated sanctions list screening, you can check your data in the background.

Current rates of exchange (customs/IATA rates of exchange) can be loaded at any time from the Internet. In the master data section, customs tariff numbers and goods descriptions can also be stored individually.

IMPROVED CUSTOMS CLEARANCE with ATLAS integrated in your freight forwarding software

Our ATLAS module provides you with support for various functions in the customs clearance process. We want to shape your various processes so that they are efficient and profitable, whether they are performed directly from CARGO ONLINE or in background processes.

ATLAS FUNCTIONS IN CARGO ONLINE

  • Free trade
  • Summary declaration
  • Customs warehouses
  • Exports (AES)
  • Shipping/NCTS

AES FINALISATION

The Export Control System (ECS) in CARGO ONLINE automates process handling for the finalisation of airfreight shipments, which is achieved through submission of an ATLAS export declaration containing a Movement Reference Number. The customs status and the processing stage that the export is in (MRN) can be seen at a glance.

Another crucial factor is the transfer status, which includes the flight tracking status of the airline, for example. This status is automatically determined and updated via the ECS. Existing source systems are consulted for the detection and evaluation of the data, such as TRAXON and the airline websites.

EXPORT DECLARATIONS ONLINE — FOR CUSTOMERS OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS

The CARGO ONLINE export declaration Internet application (iAES) offers a range of benefits for freight forwarders and shippers:

  • The shipping company uses the ATLAS login of the freight forwarder
  • Autonomous data acquisition by the shipping company
  • Data can be imported from the ERP system via an XML interface
  • Shipping company does not need a BIN to log in
  • All you need is an Internet connection

As a freight forwarder, you benefit from the fact that a close customer relationship is formed from the point that the export declaration is recorded. Because the data is captured by the shipping company, freight forwarders are not responsible for any errors in the data entry. It saves time and money, particularly for orders with lots of items in different customs tariffs. The export declaration can be submitted by the customer or the freight forwarder.
