CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN CARGO ONLINE
Customs clearance processing from directly within the CARGO ONLINE freight forwarding software. The ATLAS software module makes this possible. The ATLAS module is linked to the dbh customs software, Advantage Customs, which is officially certified by the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF).
The module can be used on its own or fully integrated in the Sea Freight and/or Airfreight modules of CARGO ONLINE. Simple operation and quick data capture are key features of this module.
- Generation of customs applications from orders
- Direct transfer of tax assessment notes
- AES finalisation for airfreight exports
- AES data entry via the Internet by your customers
- Plausibility checks
CARGO ONLINE supports users with existing master data, which the user can select, meaning that this data does not need to be entered again.
ATLAS FUNCTIONS:
- Free trade
- Summary declaration
- Exports (AES)
- Shipping/NCTS
EXPORT DECLARATIONS ONLINE
The CARGO ONLINE export declaration web application (iAES) simplifies processes for freight forwarders and shipping companies.
- The shipping company uses the ATLAS login of the freight forwarder
- Autonomous data acquisition by the shipping company
- Data can be imported from the ERP system via an XML interface
- Shipping company does not need a BIN to log in
- All you need is an Internet connection
A close customer relationship is established as soon as the export declaration is captured. Because the data is captured by the shipping company, freight forwarders are not responsible for any errors in the data entry.
A great deal of time and money is saved, particularly for requests with a lot of different customs tariffs. The export declaration can be submitted by the customer or the freight forwarder.

EXPANSIONS AND TOOLS FOR CARGO ONLINE
The cross-module Order and Document Manager (ODM) can be used to automatically create, calculate and copy orders based on the master data. This ensures that users have an overview of all transport carriers. At the same time, complete workflows can be displayed and define these precisely using tasks. It is possible to react immediately to spontaneous changes. All incoming and outgoing documents are stored with a clear structure in the e-Folder.
The web-based add-on tool for more than just tracking & tracing. The central source of information for all involved parties offers direct order entry for shipping agents/customers via the Internet. Automatic status messages provide updates for the involved parties via email. Email templates and status messages can be individually defined and adjusted.
The platform provides further support for the exchange of data and documents. For security purposes, the data is checked with data from the ODM.
The interface enables the simple exchange of order data with customers, service providers and/or other locations. Supplied data is imported to generate new orders or add to existing ones. This minimizes the amount of manual entry, the workload and the potential for error involved in order processing. It does not matter what system the communication partner is using, as the data is converted automatically. Plausibility checks when the data is received ensure that no incomplete or incorrect information is provided.
Creating your own statistics and statistics groups is easy, thanks to features such as simplified database querying. This process involves the consolidation and aggregation of order data, invoice data and cost data. In addition to the option to save user-defined filters, users can also export data to MS Excel for further processing.
Whether you are posting incoming or outgoing invoices, or performing dunning processes including dunning documents, the open item management facilitates the administration of financial accounting items. Various filters can be used to ensure that the desired overviews are displayed. Open items statistics, invoice display and an overview of maturities and invoice dates are additional features. Account statements can be displayed as a list or for each customer. In addition, FiBu data can be exported to MS Excel.
This expansion facilitates the monitoring and auditing of addresses (sanctions list screening). Contact data is checked when it is entered for the first time. The contact is checked again each time it is re-used, e.g. when it is used to enter an order or when it is updated. Any hits are clearly displayed for the user.
Recording of enquiries and shipment details in the quotation tool. The calculation is performed and the profit for each line/total profit is displayed. Generated quotation data can be transferred into orders and to the invoicing tool. Customised templates can be constructed and used in MS Word.
Centralised tool for analysis, reporting and controlling. Detailed analyses of shipping logs and transport flows can be compiled up to the shipping level. Here, there is a focus on reducing complexity through interactivity and dynamic, graphic depiction of all data. Detailed and management views are available simultaneously and ad hoc analyses can be performed at any time.
With the CRM tool, risks/potentials can be detected and customer evaluations can be performed in accordance with customised criteria. This tool enables centralised management of addresses/contacts and facilitates the analysis of sales activities. A quick overview of offers, shipments, potentials and an automatic follow-up system are just a few of the strengths of this tool.
The communication tool for direct transmission of AWB data to airlines. Electronic data transmission (eAWB) to the airlines linked to CHAMP/Traxon is already possible. Status messages can be displayed directly in the Order and Document Manager (ODM). Reservation/booking, flight plan enquiry and statistics/evaluation are also included in the range of functions.
Thanks to this expansion, VGM data can be transmitted directly from the system via email or in the form of an EDI message. Existing data is transferred automatically. It is also possible to send individual container data or data for several containers simultaneously, and also to transmit VGM data from several containers to one position at staggered intervals. By entering the time of the VGM transmission, the user can view a detailed overview of the shipment.
Business Integration & Tracking (BIT) is the information platform for up-to-date container data/container status updates for all the terminals in the ports of Bremen and Hamburg. The transmission of the container number/customs number enables users to enquire about the actual status of a container, enabling them to plan and coordinate schedules more efficiently.
The Port Community Systems (PCS) of the ports of Bremen and Hamburg are linked via the interface. There are international links to the Dutch ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam and the Belgian ports in Antwerp and Zeebrugge.
